The clinker parts discharged from the cooler are crushed by the way of rollers which are rotated opposite directions from each other. The crushed clinker parts are passed through the gap between the rollers and transmitted to the clinker silo through the conveyors.
Crushing operations are carried out by the help of rings mounted on the rollers and its tooth with hardfacing welded material. The number of these rings is directly proportional to the width of the cooler.
